Information about the use of our site
In order to continuously improve our site and adapt it to your needs, we need to collect data about overall site usage, the most frequently accessed areas of the site, time of use, average time of use, and other information. To do this, we use the following technical means:
An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you browse the site. The servers used to manage the homepages can recognize your computer by this number. In this way, we can determine how the page is used by the different IP addresses. However, we do not make any connection between the IP address and the personal data collected.
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection regulations of the (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties. In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification. When you access our web pages, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general transmitted information about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be identified, which we can use to improve our offers accordingly.
Due to the entry into force (May 25, 2018) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in all EU member states, information regarding the processing of personal data can be requested in writing from our Data Protection Officer: email@example.com.
Order processing and recipients of data
In some cases, we use external service providers who are bound by our instructions to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us and are regularly monitored. The assignments are based on agreements on commissioned processing in accordance with the Swiss data protection guidelines and/or the GDPR. Independent processing for our own purposes does not take place through the commissioned processors.
